Green Cities Fund arranged for the nomination of Cuban medical workers for the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize, delivering to Oslo nominating letters from Dr. Paul Farmer, founder of Partners in Health, and  U.S. Congressional Representative Barbara Lee. The medical workers, who for decades have provided volunteer medical aid around the world, are once again being nominated.
