Green Cities Fund has sponsored a number of educational political cartoons with noted cartoonist Khalil Bendib and others. Among the most popular was “Play Ball” showing President Obama on the mound pitching to Fidel. In 2012 It was presented to Cuban gay rights advocate Mariela Castro by Berkeley Mayor Tom Bates and State Senator Loni Hancock. Some of the cartoons can be seen here.
