Dark Alliance Project

Upon the death of investigative reporter Gary Webb, Green Cities Fund conducted an investigation and publicity campaign about the circumstances leading to his death following his revelation of Presidents Reagan and Bush’s involvement with the crack epidemic which was particularly lethal to African Americans.  Among those personally interviewed (in Federal prisons) were Mossad agent Paul Lir Alexander who was present in Nicaragua when cocaine was flowing to the United States and Michael Riconosciutto who testified before Congress of the Reagan Administration’s illicit use of intelligence software he had developed as well as his employer’s secret mission to arrange for the release of hostages held in Iran after the presidential election which resulted in the defeat of Jimmy Carter and the election of President Reagan. Webb’s story is depicted in the film “Kill the Messenger”.
